Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

My friend Nicole took our family pictures this year that we used for our Christmas cards. We were thrilled how they turned out! Especially the one of us kissing-Love it! Thank You Nicole for doing such a fantastic job and giving me such a treasure!

Taia, Maddy and Mckay celebrating!

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit for New Year's! We had such a wonderful week with them and made so many special memories - we miss them dearly! While they were here we went up to Tenaya Lodge up in Yosemite. They have so many fun things to do for families. They have an outdoor ice skating rink and snow forts for the kids to build. We had so much fun up there- the views were breath taking!

Dad and Mom loved seeing our new place and the extreme home makeover we have done in just two short months! The kids loved showing Grandma and Grandpa our farm and shooting their bow and arrows with Grandpa! He had many great tips for them!

The Sunday after Christmas we had Kenz and Jer's family over for dinner and games. We had such a blast having a hoop tournament and playing "Just Dance 2" on the Wii!

Merry Christmas! On our way to church
We all got what we wanted

Bria wanted a ukelele which she loves taking to school and playing! She's really good and now all her friends want her to teach them the guitar/uk! Tai got her camera and is becoming quite the photographer!

On Christmas Eve every year each child gets a new pair of pajamas and we have our traditional family gift exchange. It is probably my favorite night of the whole year. We began this tradition quite a few years ago when the girls were small. For FHE we draw names and go shopping the same evening for our treasures. They are probably more excited about their gifts to each other than what they are getting. The kids bring their own money and we go shopping at the dollar tree. It is so fun watching them as they search for that special gift they want to give. The love and thought that goes into the gifts is priceless and so touching. I love these pictures because they show the joy on their faces as they give their gift.

New Christmas pajamas!
For Christmas Eve this year since Grandma and Grandpa are in Russia we invited many of our close friends and family over for the Nativity and Christmas Eve dinner. We had a house full and it was wonderful. We are blessed to have so many dear friends and family!

Since we are living on a farm and have live animals we thought how fun it would be to have a live nativity with our animals. It was hilarious! We had 29 children under the age of 14! After outfitting all of them we gathered outside and Case narrated. We were able to bring in one of our goats and even had the sheep noises in the background. It turned out pretty adorable.

We loved meeting and getting to hold our new baby cousin Talmage! When Kenz was in the hospital we got to have LuLu for the day. They all had so much fun together. Kamae and LuLu had a little beauty salon together and kept themselves very busy!
