Park City-4th of July 2008!

Tomorrow my mom and dad are coming into town for Memorial day and spending the week-we are so excited! It will be so fun to have them here! The boys have a couple of baseball games while they are here that they will be able to go to. McKay gets to pitch in his games so he is super excited to show grandpa.
I found these adorable pictures from our trip a couple of years ago with my family. My parents planned a wonderful vacation in Park City over the 4th of July. There was so much to do for the kids from parades, rodeos, and fireworks to a festival in the park. My boys especially loved the rodeo grandpa got tickets to!
Growing up in Utah we spent many weekends there as a family or just zipped up with a bunch of friends to spend the day. It is such a great place to visit for a quick vacation in either summer or winter. In the summer the Alpine Slide was always a favorite activity, but I have to say the new Alpine Coaster is hands down the best-my kids loved it!  We had a great time racing each other down the track.
This was a very memorable trip for all the little cousins and will be on the top of our list this summer!

Muffins With Mom

Every year on the friday before Mother's Day our school has a morning called "Muffins With Mom" where we get to go to school early and have breakfast together. This has been a fun tradition with my little one's and love how excited they are every time!

Take me out to the Ball Game....

For Mckay's birthday present Case surprised him with tickets to the Giants game! It was especially cool because they were playing the Phillies which is Mckay's little league team this year-he was thrilled! It was a day game so we took the boys out of school for the day and zipped to San Francisco.  Before the game started we were watching the players warm up and McKay was lucky enough to get a game ball-exciting!  The weather turned out to be beautiful, Lincecum was pitching, great food and two VERY excited little boys-Lots of fun memories!!

Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs...!

McKay's Birthday party this year was based on the movie "Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs".  Imagine, 15 nine year-old boys and one gigantic food fight-AWESOME!:) They were in Heaven! With the soundtrack playing, decorations and yummy treats, our home was officially transformed into "CHEW AND SWALLOW" for the day. We rented a bounce house water slide and borrowed our friends sno-cone machine they so graciously let us use for the occasion-they loved that! All you can eat sno-cones! I would say the highlight of the party the boys will surely never forget was their spaghetti dinner...... HYSTERICAL! Here are some great highlights from the party including a hilarious video of their spaghetti dinner.....ENJOY!

The Gummi Bear game..... Each boy had their own plate with 5 gummi bears and cool whip covering them. It was a race to see who could get all 5 gummi bears out of the cool whip first with just their mouth!

Hamburger throw.... This was a hit! Anytime you give a boy something to throw or destroy they are thrilled. I made a few hamburgers from a bun and chocolate frosting for the meat. Each boy had a turn throwing the hamburger to the other side of the yard to see who could make it into a whole we dug. This was great fun!

The Sno-Cone machine was a hit! Our friends the VanWagenens were so kind to let us use their Sno-Cone machine for the party. The kids were in heaven being able to make sno-cones when ever they wanted. Thank You Reed and Shelley!

"Chew And Swallow"

McKay's 9! Happy Birthday Buddy!

I can't believe McKay is already nine years old-Wow, how time flies! I'm so proud of the good boy he is and what a help he is to mom and his little sister. There is never a dull moment when McKay is around! He is hilarious and keeps everyone in stitches with his quick- wit and great sense of humor! Here are some cute pictures of McKay's family party at the park. His Birthday was actually on April 26th, so I've been playing quite a bit of catch up lately!  We had a great time with all our cousins and Grandparents. Since grandma and grandpa would be leaving soon for Salt Lake and from there off to Russia, we had a combined party for McKay and his cute little cousin Titan. McKay was especially excited to receive his first pocket knife from grandma and grandpa-so cool! Definitely the best part for him!!
Happy Birthday Mac-A-Doodle!
More Birthday fun to come.....!
