For spring Break this year we zipped down to San Diego to meet up with some good friends of ours,the Vang's, we don't see them as often as we would like anymore so it was great to spend a couple of days with their darling family. The kids were extra excited about hanging out with their buddies and seeing Shamu together! It made the trip all the more exciting to take an RV for the week-the kids loved it! I went to costco and stalked up on food for our adventure, loaded the rest of our stuff and we were off!
After a very active week we headed back home for a much anticipated Conference weekend. There were some of exciting changes for our extended family with grandma and grandpa headed back over to Russia-we will miss them! The rest of the day was filled with Easter egg hunting,candy and more candy(I think I stole all the cadbury eggs from my kids baskets-YUM )! :)That evening we invited the rest of our extended family over for some Easter dessert and to let the cousies play. To cap off the week The Duke Blue Devils(our old stomping grounds) were in the NCAA championship game on Monday night! So of course we had to have a party! We invited a bunch of families over to enjoy a great game -GO DUKE!! Quite a fun way to wrap up an amazing week!!

We took the kids on a church tour during our trip to visit the San Diego Temple and Newport Beach Temple. We met some darling Sister missionaries who presented a discussion for our kids and taught them more about the temple. It was a great opportunity for them to see missionary work first hand.
